“Since transitioning to calisthenics, the change has been incredible. I’m stronger now than I ever was with weightlifting, and I’ve experienced fewer injuries. I feel more mobile, healthier, and my body just feels better overall. Calisthenics is so much more engaging—it’s diverse, skill-based, and keeps me constantly learning and improving.
One thing I’ve absolutely loved is learning handstands. They’ve become a core part of my training and something I truly enjoy. On the other hand, ring muscle-ups were a real challenge for me, especially while dealing with tendinitis. But through personalised coaching and focusing on rebuilding strength, I eventually conquered them, and it felt amazing.
This course has given me a fresh perspective on training and a renewed excitement for working out. If you’re a lifter feeling stuck in your routine, I can’t recommend it enough!"”

"I started with weightlifting because it made me feel strong, and I loved how easy it was to see progress by adding weight or reps. Transitioning to calisthenics was a totally different experience. Progress wasn’t as straightforward at first—I couldn’t just add weight or numbers to measure improvement. Instead, I had to focus on mastering techniques and learning how to progress step by step, which was harder for me to wrap my head around at first.
With Kes guidance, I’ve now learned the methods of progression in calisthenics. She’s taught me how to break movements down and build them up over time, and that’s been a game changer. For example, push-ups were a huge struggle for me, and there were times I thought, 'I’ll never get this.' If I’d been on my own, I probably would have given up, but Kes helped me push past that mental block.
Calisthenics has taught me to be patient and trust the process. Progress isn’t always instant, but when it happens, it’s so rewarding. What I love about calisthenics is how it makes me feel stronger and more in control of my body. The advanced skills, like muscle-ups and handstands, are so inspiring. Even though I can’t do them yet, I know I’m building the foundation to get there.
Understanding progression methods has not only made calisthenics feel more achievable but also given me confidence to tackle other challenges in life. It’s incredibly satisfying to see myself improve, and it’s changed the way I think about my body. It’s no longer about how I look or what I weigh—it’s about what I can do. If you’re a woman thinking about calisthenics, I can’t recommend it enough. It’s an amazing way to feel strong, powerful, and completely in tune with yourself."
